Top 10 Smart Phones in 2014: Under 200 Dollars

Hi the world :-)

This year we saw some remarkable releases in the smartphone world. Companies from around the world, yes from around the globe, from the most eastern place to the most western place, from the north pole to the south pole. Everyone released their bestest till now in this year. But when it comes to a regular buyer; the most busy range is under 200 dollars range to buy a new smart phone.
So with out further due lets do what is due, starting off with No 10:

No 10: Gionee M2

A 5 inch screen with bright 16M colors is a sure to get your eye balls rolling. Yet it has some other tricks up its sleeves, the phone has got a quad core 1.3 Ghz CPU with a GPU Mali-400 along with a 1 GB RAM. So it is sure to run some not so heavy games and apps with ease. The camera is 8 MP back with flash and 2 MP front camera, which is satisfactory in terms of selfies. Last but not the least you can have this phone anywhere between 150-180 dollars.

No 9: Micromax A190 Canvas HD Plus

The Indian company is one of the very few companies which have seen quite a lot of lime lite internationally over the last couple of years. Now with markets even reaching Hollywood and brand ambassador None other than Hugh Jackman. This brand is one to look forward. With its summer releases it showed a remarkable and actually capable device A190 Canvas HD Plus. Sure it has some unbelievable specs on paper like a Hexa core 1.5 Ghz cortex A7 CPU with a GPU Mali-450 and 1 GB of RAM (Camera 8 MP back, 2 MP front). It is better than many lower priced octa cores in performance spectrum. Its weaker joint is in its screen while it comes with 5 inch panel and does not lack in resolution, it surely lacks the X factor when it comes to colors. With just a support of 256K colors the Panel is not as good as the CPU performance is. Well this take down is still pushed up surprisingly by the price which is just around 170-180 Dollars.

No 8: Gionee Marathon M3

Well this upgrade in M number is actually 99% same phone in terms of hardware to the previous generation of M series from Gionee, But the internal memory is increased from 4 GB to 8 GB and the GPU is latest Mali-450 rest is just history repeated on paper. This M3 comes with Android KitKat and we hope that an update would be in plans for the Android Lollipop. Along with these tiny upgrades the massive upgrade is in battery which was previously wet to last just around 24 Hrs of 3g talk time, is now upto 40 hours of 3g talk time. The price is still eye catching 170-180 Dollars.

No 7: Huawei Ascend G620s

This company has been around since the early days of the mobile phone manufacturing. So they have also been in charts for their releases every now and then. This latest in the Ascend G series has a 5 inch screen with 16M colors which gives a subpar image quality. The Chipset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon clocked at 1.2 Ghz Quad core with Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. Performance wise the phone is above average and is definitely there to stay in ones hands till they can afford higher priced better specs phone. Well right now the phone is priced from 190 Dollars to just a penny over 200 dollars.

No 6: Lenovo A606

Yes it’s true! This laptop manufacturing company is now a days pretty well into the smart phone business. With this A series phone they are giving a Quad core 1.3 Ghz chipset with 1 GB RAM and Mali-400MP2 GPU. The screen is 5 inch with 16M colors but has a pixel density which was considered amazing in the first decade of this century. The main selling point of this phone is its price which is just over 150 Dollars.

No 5: Sony Xperia M2

This company certainly does not lack in graphics and sound industry but in some recent years they have proved their mark as a good smartphone manufacturer as well. The first Xperia M was fantastic machine and this is sure have to fill a lot of ground. Well it does not lack in hardware, houses a quad core 1.2 Ghz CPU with 1 GB of RAM and GPU Adreno 305. Its screen size is pinted up a bit now at 4.8 inches with a display which can put a smile on your face. The battery is also healthy to use and will last more than a day easily. Price is around 190 dollars.

No 4: Nokia Lumia 735

Once the best smartphone company, well it’s still among the best if you are not born for just apps. Nokia still rules the world of windows phones but when it comes in an overall comparison depending on price, we could not give it higher than this spot. This Lumia packs a CPU of 1.2 Ghz quad core and 1 GB RAM. This also packs a powerful back camera with now legendary Nokia sensor technology to put your photos in quality exhibition as well as a front camera that can really make a portrait (6.7 MP back, 5 MP front). With a windows phone 8.1 this phone owns the latest software from windows phone world. It was priced at 250 but now it is available around 200 dollars.

No 3: Motorola Moto G Dual SIM (2014)

In the affordable range of smart phones, Moto G is the most hyped phone as it was the only phone last year which offered quad core CPU that could actually go neck to neck with the biggies in terms of performance. Well its next gen is here and it also promises the same build quality and performance which gave the last model its place in buyer’s pockets and hearts. The CPU is again a quad core 1.3 Ghz with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. While the upgrade is in screen size that is now at 5 inches with above average graphic performance and resolution, As well as there is an upgrade in camera 8 MP back and 2 MP front. Whole of this package is just available around 200 bucks.

No 2: HTC Desire 616 dual sim

When it comes to HTC they have the Mercedes standard in terms of build quality and design to impress the masses. But this phone is not just the numbers on papers as it truly performs like it is expected. It has an Octa core 1.4 CPU with 1 GB of RAM and Mali 450 GPU. The Screen is hefty at 5 inches and gives realistic colors. The only true downside is its battery but that is still enough to set you going through a day or so of heavy usage. Price is catchy at about 200 Dollars.

No 1: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

There are few phones now a day which have a design language to die for and surely this baby from Sony does not lack in catching the aaawwweeee. This compact phone is actually pretty compact in terms of its size and its hardware, it packs a powerfull quad core 2.5 Ghz CPU with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. This has another punch hidden as it is IP68 certified so it is dust and water resistant. The screen is 4.6 inches which gives vivid colors and is awesome to look at while taking the most pleasure out from its CPU performance. The battery is also powerful as it would easily take you through two or more days on full charge with medium to heavy use. This is priced around 200 Dollars.
