Huawei Honor 7: Paving the road to Nexus

Hello fans,

Rumors of the future and truths of the past are often unbearable. But in some aspects and situations these can be very helpful in designing the present. Such a situation can be seen with Huawei smart phones this year. As rumors and leaked images are surfacing the internet and P8 already in markets, Huawei has released another phone which takes the good from both past and future in present
This smartphone is non other then the Huawei Honor 7.

Design:
The latest launch has a metallic unibody design that appeals to every eye and holds the design similarities with last years Mate. With extreme angles being rounded at the corners for good. The phone has a fit in hand design to support user experience without performing hand gymnastics as it only holds a screen of 5.2" real estate.

Hardware and software:

The epic design begins with an awesome display of 5.2" capable of 1080p resolution and 424ppi density.
Above the screen there is an 8MP camera with autofocus.

On the rear there is a 20MP camera with dual tone flash. A finger print and hard touch scanner is also available under the rear camera with the contemporary speaker.

Inside the hood, there is a dual quad core processor with 2.2 GHz and other with 1.5 GHz working together in hour of need. The Ram support is 3GB with GPU MaliT628 MP4. Total internal memory is either 16 or 64 GB varients.

It runs on  Lollipop 5.1.1 skinned with emotion UI 3.1.

Performance:

Device runs daily utility apps like messaging and dailer apps as fluid water fountain in burj al Arab. You can expect such a performance even in online apps for email, fb and what's app. Gaming and heavy editing apps do take time to load but once loaded work nicely with out crashes.

Both the cameras work fine and produce good images but there is no 4k video recording.

There is still some down falls in this device which include changed look and feel of Lollipop. We don't say its bad but it does make the lollipop experience not so lick able.

The GPU performance is also a little on controlled side as you can feel that it does not unleash its full potential.

Hope you liked it...
