Kia Picanto:- For PKR 2 million...is it worthy

Hi Fans,

This is that time of the year again when summer is saying a scorching good bye and autumn is in the evening. But in all this diorama of seasons there is always a breeze of fresh air. This year that fresh breeze was expected and actually to some sort quite hyped by the Korean motoring giant KIA which came back to Pakistan after about a decade and a half.

With all its serenity of Grande Carnival and the joy of sports package. The hopes were high and soon after the big eid festival every car enthusiaist had his eyes stuck on the news by KIA. The news came just about a week ago that KIA has started booking of it all new KIA Picanto.

Soon after the news was being flushed to the internet, everyone had just one question in mind, on tounge, and in dreams that what is its cost. Well the Price of just under a tad of 2 Million
PKR is set. There are two varients launched and every variant comes with roughly every this same other then gear setup.



The Charm is still in the air as its the newest child in the family in Pakistan. Yet the issue is that its just a 1000 cc car. Which puts it in comparison to locally manufactured the compitition of kia picanto is Suzuki Wagon R, Cultus or imported Toyota Vitz, Mitsubishi Mirage, Toyota Passo, Diahatsu Boon etc.

All these Cars with slighlty older models and imported branding  have atleast 5-10% price drop in comparison to this KIA Picanto. Talk about the space and utility, you get better mileage from japanese cars, better instrument clutter, more reliability, better design as well as better resale value.

The Seats are also not suited to some one larger then 5'8", yet these manage to give height adjustment features to shorter drivers and specially ladies. No No dont say that its a ladies car yet. It has better punch then all above cars and better dricing stability with wider tyres and car setup.

Not convinced still in amulgum of thoughts, well you are free to bang your head into the wall (dont take this seriously). Go and visit nearest KIA center and take a test drive and if you love tell us in comments below if you hate it still tell us below.
