PSN Outage Disrupts PlayStation 5 Users

On February 8, 2025, the PlayStation Network (PSN) suffered a major outage, preventing users from accessing online services on PS5 and PS4. Gamers worldwide reported issues with launching games, using the PlayStation Store, and managing accounts.

Sony acknowledged the problem and assured users they were working on a fix. However, no specific cause or restoration time was given. This follows a similar outage in October 2024, raising concerns about PSN's reliability.

Services are gradually recovering, but some players may still face disruptions. Sony advises users to check the PSN status page for updates.
