Yes we are still waiting for a proper hologram technology. But mean while every now and then some technology really gets the attention. 3d Printing has been around from quite a while now but this is the first time that now it is being practiced world wide and is becoming part of several industries as well as the fun stuff. 

For the production of creative sculptures to give the viewers oozz of the wizard, 3d printing is perfect for the work right now.

Sure its not Michelangelo stuff but still looks promising. Next up are the Prosthetic A.K.A. Body organs. People who are unable to have any certain limbs are being treated with 3d Printed Prosthetic. Which is actually one of the few uses of this machinery which makes it truly astonishing.
