Brewing is there since the advent of time and the brewing process has been almost the same which include natural fermentation process in tanks but now you can add the flavor you want in your beer with this Espresso inspired  beer machine which mashes the flavor into the beer while its out from the tap. 

Personalization is in consumer trends thats why this hoppier is developed as told by Edward Brunner Head of Food and Beverage systems at Cambridge consultants. Well the main technique used is similar to the coffee machine as shown here:
