Prime Time Begins: Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime: Camera Review.

Hello Beautiful world,

Let's begin with a little talk about life. During life time, some may like to eat, some may like to drive cars or motorbike while some may like to dress up. But what's the one thing common to most of us in likes well during the last couple of years, the answer has turned out to be selfie capturing A.K.A capturing own photos using front camera of the phone. We know that atleast now it has become a popular selling point for most of the smartphone as well as feature phones to have a better selfie cam. Nokia is on the lead so are the iPhones, Sony and HTC. But a company was lacking in this department until now.

Yes, Ladies and Gentle men the company we are talking about is Samsung and the phone that has caught eyes now is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. As the name dignifies the phone is classified into the Genus Grand and specie prime. So what's the difference over the other Grand models, well to start up with it has a 5 MP wide angle Camera up the front which is on to capturing 720p HD video and HD photos with 25% more width giving you the capture of yourself that you want. Talking about the rear camera you get a decent 8 MP camera with a video capacity of 1080p HD.

That's all from the mirror department lets talk about the performance on the ramp now. It comes with a Qualcomm SnapDragon 410 Chipset clocked at 1.2 Ghz Quad Core with 1 GB of RAM. Internal memory of this phone is 8 GB as well as it supports up to 64 GB SD card. We know that these specs are not that great now but considering its price its still a great package. As all the Benchmark scores tick right into mid range category and you'll also not feel any lag or delay in phones regular day to day performance. But HD apps specially the games may look a bit dull at times as the PPI density is only 221 ppi which is low by now standards and was low even 2 years ago. But during reading ebooks and listening to music or even doing some multitasking on Email and Office apps you ll be more than satisfied.

The phone stays up for over a day of medium usage and easily up to a day of heavy usage with 2600 mAh battery, if the battery is charged 100 % daily. Price wise the phone is a must have as it only costs about 220$ or a pinch above differs in markets.

Over all score: 7.5/10 out of which 50% goes to camera other 50 % to the rest of the phone.
