For as long as Galaxy S line up is concerned it was always considered practical, every day go to phone but design wise it has never been even close to any of the rival iPhones. But hey, this is different now as Samsung pushing its design limits to metallic and glassy finishes iPhones have got a real competitor in Market.

Well performance wise they are corner to corner with each other. You may see a couple of apps working for iOS better than Android and Vice Versa.

All in all it comes to your actual personal preferences, what you like in a phone and how do you like to use your phone.
