Epic Science: NASA compares it's real world Mission Mars to Movie The Martian

Hi Everyone:

As much as we know almost every Hollywood movie watcher loves space age movies and something good here and there about planet Mars simply makes everyone go GAGA over it. Well more to say, if a movie also has the ace Hollywood actor Matt Damon in it then it becomes much more vowable.

The recent movie The Martian, took its science fiction tools towards more of reality basis as NASA is already in works since many years to launch its mission Mars till the end of first Quarter of this Century. It may sound a bit obligatory but NASA has indeed taken its science fiction theme by releasing some infographics about how far NASA is into actually launching a mission Mars. NASA compares its technology to that of movies in here.
