Sony Xperia 1 : Smartphone Specs and Reviews

Sony Xperia 1 review

Sony Xperia 1

The Xperia 1 is a super-slim smartphone, measuring just 8.2mm. While that number might sound pretty standard, the 167mm height makes the body of the Xperia 1 feel significantly slimmer. It will tower above its competition, but it's only 72mm wide, meaning despite that height, it's very comfortable to hold and it looks great too - especially in the purple and grey colours.
The front of the Xperia 1 is pretty much all screen.

The Xperia 1 is special. It is the Xperia Premium reborn, with a large 6.5" OLED 4K HDR display and today we'll get to know it better.

But the Xperia 1 isn't just excelling in the viewing department. Sony has put the latest Snapdragon 855 chip inside, all the connectivity options you may need, too, and one very interesting triple-camera setup. Sure, we've seen plenty such wide/ultra/tele combos elsewhere already, but Sony is bringing some advanced features as dual-pixel Eye AF and HDR video capturing in an attempt to one-up the competition. Let's hope those pan out well.

And before we list all the important specs, we have to say the Xperia 1 is also a looker - a very sleek and fashionable Smartphone. Plus, it's dust and water resistant, not that we anticipated anything less from the  designer that made water resistance a must in any flagship.
In terms of battery capacity, the Xperia 1 opts for a 3330 mAh cell, which is the same as the Xperia XZ3. Sony offers plenty of software features to enhance better battery life, such as its Stamina mode, though despite the Xperia 1's glass back, wireless charging is not supported. Sony claims this is because it would not only have made the device thicker - which would have been a shame - and it also said the demand wasn't there in its experience.

The Sony Xperia 1 will launch on Android Pie with Sony's bloat ware over the top. This skin has been considerably reduced in recent years and while there are still a number of pre-installed apps and Sony overhauling quite a few other apps, like camera, it is a much more refined experience than it used to be.

How to make MARS Liveable...AKA Terraforming

Hi, Ever thought that you should not live on this planet. well if you happen to be alive in 21st century you may have at least for once thought about it. Yes we all have to leave earth one day one after another via death. But is it the only way possible or is there any other way around. Indeed there is, as Scientist at NASA and other major space exploration facilities have continuously searching for a suitable planet to live on. But recent advancements have lead us to believe that searching a livable planet is by far the most difficult task as finding one is like finding needle in hay stack but they are far enough to make the task of going there as difficult as passing a camel through the pin hole. So the obvious questions remains the same can we live on other planets. The answer remarkably is yes we can, by terraforming other planets to our own needs. Remember the scene from Man of Steel movie where General Zod starts the World engine to make earth like krypton. Yes i...
